New thermally formed plastic rain tray for the engine compartment. This tray mounts to the bottom of the engine deck lid and directs liquids to the funnel tubes located on both sides of the compartment.
The 1970-72 914 model years used a smooth sloped tray which mounted via 3 drop tabs.
The 1973-76 914 model years used an embossed tray which helped prevent water from sitting in the middle and mounted directly to the deck lid.
