That question opens the calendar. Twelve stories try to answer it. You won't find the answer until December — and when you do, it won't be the one you expected.
Each month follows the vintage Porsche ad format  "THE PORSCHE" — with stories typeset directly over hero photography. These aren't captions. They're narratives gathered over years of documenting this community firsthand.

You'll meet a school teacher who couldn't afford a mechanic in 1973. What that forced her to learn took her somewhere no American woman had been before.
A man who received a 914 as a wedding gift and kept it for twenty years — through moves, career changes, and every practical reason to sell. He'll make you think about the one you almost let go.
