Decent but could be better
I purchased this harness to install after a rebuild of the motor in my 914. It looks good and is made pretty well. The 10 gauge(?) red lead that goes from the alternator to the starter needs to be about 2" longer. I had to pull it pretty tight to make the connection putting it closer tot he valve cover than I would like. Thus lead to my second observation. The rubber boot gromet that installs in the alternator housing is made from material that isn't quite supple enough. When I had to pull the cable to the starter tight it split the grommet where the wire passes through. 914 Rubber needs to spend just a tad more having these made to really be up to Porsche standards.
