Late Hood Spring Set for 914

Set of new reproduction springs for the support of the front trunk. Like the factory parts, these have been coated in a durable black enamel finish to offer protection from rust, the only difference being that ours have been sprayed whereas the originals were dipped. 

Although the PET lists only one part number for this part, we have found there are two versions of this spring which we have faithfully reproduced for the concourse folks. This listing is for the late version of the front hood spring which had a longer spring with higher tension.

The factory revised the springs sometime around 1973. Since the parts were superseded either spring will fit your car. If you are looking for the shorter early springs, please click here.
