This is a reproduction kit of the 914-6 hand throttle used to allow you adjust the idle speed. If you want to maintain a higher base RPM for A/X. NOT recommended to use as a cruise control. Suitable for any 4 or 6 cylinder carbed car. Installs in the factory location inside the forward part of the shifter base. That is the purpose of the slot is in the shifter base. The guide bushing for the rod mounts inside the tunnel using the factory hole. Requires welding the provided metal tab to the accelerator crank on the pedal set.
