Does not fit 1974 mode. 914
This part does not fit my 1974 914. In the later cars the tunnel exit and engine compartment floor entry point (hole) are offset. In the earlier cars these 2 points are in a vertical line. Still looking for a source for this part for the later model cars. As noted in an earlier review, the fitting at the top is too small for the hole in the engine compartment shelf

Too long for a 1.7
Seems this is a very good part for a 6 cyl but way too long for a 1.7. Would also suggest that it be mfg with a split down the back as the ability to feed the harness through is pretty impractical...both ends would be held by the ends and could be glued or taped...but wrong length for a 1.7
