We love seeing what exciting projects our customers are currently working on. Every month we would like to showcase a couple of cars in whatever state they are in - on the road or on the rack.
This month's customer car story comes from Michael Pavonetti and his barn-find 914!
The car was parked under a shed where it sat for 14 years prior to Michael becoming the owner. It was last registered in 2007.
After taking it back to his shop, Michael was able to get the car cleaned up and tore into it. With a bit of work and troubleshooting, he was able to revive the engine and get the car running.
Now Michael's car stands ready to take on the Texan roads once again. Thanks for breathing new life into another 914 and thanks for the great submission Michael!

I am in the process of restoring my 1976 914. I have ordered a few parts from your store.
I need help opening the rear trunk lid.
I do not see any lever or pull knob to release the latch.
There is a Porsche logo lens between the two rear tail lights.
