We love seeing what exciting projects our customers are currently working on. Every month we would like to showcase a couple of cars in whatever state they are in - on the road or on the rack. Please submit your image(s) and a summary of the restoration or event to [email protected]. If we select your story for the newsletter, you will win a $50 914Rubber gift card!
This month’s story comes from Tom Daily.
This is Tom’s 1973 Porsche 914 2.0L that he bought in 2005. He bought it in New Hampshire, and he has put in work to upgrade it over the years.
His car has front and rear bumpers, and sun visors that he purchased from 914Rubber. The original 2.0L engine was rebuilt by Original Customs in Michigan into a 2056. He has used a variety of sources for the parts and work, places like Auto Atlanta, Sierra Madre, Tangerine, and Autobahn interiors.
“Car drives great, plenty of prep, and way less investment than a 356 outlaw.” Says Tom, “As I approach my 80th birthday, I am trying to imagine a different home for my car.”
Thanks for your story Tom! It’s great to see the cars of the community.
