This month's submission comes from Dave McKenna with his 1976 914. The car was a barn find that Dave came across and bought in 2015 and just recently became roadworthy.
At the time it had no transmission, no floor pan, and the engine was disassembled and spread out across several boxes of parts. He did a bare metal restoration on a rotisserie that took 5 1/2 years to complete. The 2.0 L engine was rebuilt with all new components from LNENGINEERING and now sits at 2563 cc @ 195 hp. Between the new engine and all the new seals from 914Rubber it's like driving a brand new car according to Dave, and is a blast to drive.
