We love seeing what exciting projects our customers are currently working on. Every month we would like to showcase a couple of cars in whatever state they are in - on the road or on the rack.
This month's customer car story comes from Gary Engdahl with his 1971 914. He inherited the 914 from a friend who is sadly no longer with us and has made it his mission to get it back on the road in his honor.
It features a 1,911 cc engine fitted with Dellorto DLRA carbs. The engine is currently on a test stand while the carbs are being jetted and sorted out prior to being installed. Gary says there are still several kinks to iron out but it has good bones. We wish you the best of luck in your build Gary, thank you for sharing this meaningful story.
