We love seeing what exciting projects our customers are currently
working on. Every month we would like to showcase a couple of cars in
whatever state they are in - on the road or on the rack.
Joe Hunt purchased his Palma Green 1973 914 2.0L as a rolling chassis back in 1995. The car features the original fuel injection which took a huge amount of troubleshooting to get working along with the ignition system.
The eagle eyed readers amongst you may have noticed that Palma Green was not available in 1973, so how did he end up with it? Well, the car has been fully painted 3 times. Unfortunately Joe learned the hard way that you have to pick your painter very carefully as one of the paint jobs came out so poorly it had to immediately be repainted. All that is left for him now is to install plumbing for the heating and upholster the interior with green tartan.
